About Me
February 9th, 2006
Originally a software engineer from New Zealand, I set off to explore the world and find something more meaningful than working IT. I soon discovered my niche, developing databases for humanitarian organisations working in developing countries. So far I have worked in Indonesia, Pakistan and Uganda.
This blog is a way for me to share my experiences with friends and family in back home, all the people I meet on my travels and anyone else who may be interested. It’s also a chance to allow some of the thoughts bouncing round in my head to escape onto the internet, particularly those related to technology, the internet, how they are changing the world we live in and how to make the best use of them.
I hope you enjoy the blog, I always welcome comments and correspondence.
